Holy in the O.T. re: Inanimate (places, things, etc)

This category of holiness in the Old Testament is by far the greatest in terms of occurrences. As you can see there are pages and pages of them. This gives us a sense of the scope or breadth of holiness. It truly touches every aspect of life. May the Holy Spirit give us revelation of this in Jesus's name!


Exo 3:5 - Then He said, "Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground."


Exo 12:16 - 'On the first day you shall have a holy assembly, and [another] holy assembly on the seventh day; no work at all shall be done on them, except what must be eaten by every person, that alone may be prepared by you.


Exo 16:23 - then he said to them, "This is what the LORD meant: Tomorrow is a sabbath observance, a holy sabbath to the LORD. Bake what you will bake and boil what you will boil, and all that is left over put aside to be kept until morning."


Exo 20:8 - "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.


Exo 20:11 - "For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.


Exo 26:33 - "You shall hang up the veil under the clasps, and shall bring in the ark of the testimony there within the veil; and the veil shall serve for you as a partition between the holy place and the holy of holies.


Exo 26:34 - "You shall put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.


Exo 28:2 - "You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.


Exo 28:4 - "These are the garments which they shall make: a breastpiece and an ephod and a robe and a tunic of checkered work, a turban and a sash, and they shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother and his sons, that he may minister as priest to Me.


Exo 28:29 - "Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment over his heart when he enters the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.


Exo 28:35 - "It shall be on Aaron when he ministers; and its tinkling shall be heard when he enters and leaves the holy place before the LORD, so that he will not die.


Exo 28:36 - "You shall also make a plate of pure gold and shall engrave on it, like the engravings of a seal, 'Holy to the LORD.'


Exo 28:38 - "It shall be on Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall take away the iniquity of the holy things which the sons of Israel consecrate, with regard to all their holy gifts; and it shall always be on his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD.


Exo 28:43 - "They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur guilt and die. It [shall be] a statute forever to him and to his descendants after him.


Exo 29:6 - and you shall set the turban on his head and put the holy crown on the turban.


Exo 29:29 - "The holy garments of Aaron shall be for his sons after him, that in them they may be anointed and ordained.


Exo 29:30 - "For seven days the one of his sons who is priest in his stead shall put them on when he enters the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place.


Exo 29:31 - "You shall take the ram of ordination and boil its flesh in a holy place.


Exo 29:33 - "Thus they shall eat those things by which atonement was made at their ordination [and] consecration; but a layman shall not eat [them,] because they are holy.


Exo 29:34 - "If any of the flesh of ordination or any of the bread remains until morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire; it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.


Exo 29:37 - "For seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and consecrate it; then the altar shall be most holy, [and] whatever touches the altar shall be holy.

Exo 30:10 - "Aaron shall make atonement on its horns once a year; he shall make atonement on it with the blood of the sin offering of atonement once a year throughout your generations. It is most holy to the LORD."


Exo 30:25 - "You shall make of these a holy anointing oil, a perfume mixture, the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.


Exo 30:29 - "You shall also consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy.


Exo 30:31 - "You shall speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'This shall be a holy anointing oil to Me throughout your generations.


Exo 30:32 - 'It shall not be poured on anyone's body, nor shall you make [any] like it in the same proportions; it is holy, [and] it shall be holy to you.


Exo 30:35 - "With it you shall make incense, a perfume, the work of a perfumer, salted, pure, [and] holy.


Exo 30:36 - "You shall beat some of it very fine, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I will meet with you; it shall be most holy to you.


Exo 30:37 - "The incense which you shall make, you shall not make in the same proportions for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for the LORD.


Exo 31:10 - the woven garments as well, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, [with which] to carry on their priesthood;


Exo 31:11 - the anointing oil also, and the fragrant incense for the holy place, they are to make [them] according to all that I have commanded you."


Exo 31:14 - 'Therefore you are to observe the sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it shall surely be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be

cut off from among his people.


Exo 31:15 - 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.


Exo 35:2 - "For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy [day,] a sabbath of complete rest to the LORD; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.


Exo 35:19 - the woven garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.'"


Exo 35:21 - Everyone whose heart stirred him and everyone whose spirit moved him came [and] brought the LORD'S contribution for the work of the tent of meeting and for all its service and for the holy garments.


Exo 37:29 - And he made the holy anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense of spices, the work of a perfumer.


Exo 39:1 - Moreover, from the blue and purple and scarlet [material,] they made finely woven garments for ministering in the holy place as well as the holy garments which were for Aaron, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.


Exo 39:30 - They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and inscribed it like the engravings of a signet, "Holy to the LORD."


Exo 39:41 - the woven garments for ministering in the holy place and the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, to minister as priests.


Exo 40:9 - "Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and shall consecrate it and all its furnishings; and it shall be holy.


Exo 40:10 - "You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, and the altarshall be most holy.


Exo 40:13 - "You shall put the holy garments on Aaron and anoint him and consecrate him, that he may minister as a priest to Me.


Lev 2:3 - 'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy, of the offerings to the LORD by fire.


Lev 2:10 - 'The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons: a thing most holy of the offerings to the LORD by fire.


Lev 5:15 - "If a person acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally against the LORD'S holy things, then he shall bring his guilt offering to the LORD: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your valuation in silver by shekels, in [terms of] the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering.


Lev 5:16 - "He shall make restitution for that which he has sinned against the holy thing, and shall add to it a fifth part of it and give it to the priest. The priest shall then make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it will be forgiven him.


Lev 6:16 - 'What is left of it Aaron and his sons are to eat. It shall be eaten as unleavened cakes in a holy place; they are to eat it in the court of the tent of meeting.


Lev 6:17 - 'It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their share from My offerings by fire; it is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering.


Lev 6:25 - "Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, 'This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is slain the sin offering shall be slain before the LORD; it is most holy.


Lev 6:26 - 'The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the tent of meeting.


Lev 6:27 - 'Anyone who touches its flesh will become consecrated; and when any of its blood splashes on a garment, in a holy place you shall wash what was splashed on.


Lev 6:29 - 'Every male among the priests may eat of it; it is most holy.


Lev 6:30 - 'But no sin offering of which any of the blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place shall be eaten; it shall be burned with fire.


Lev 7:1 - 'Now this is the law of the guilt offering; it is most holy.


Lev 7:6 - 'Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place; it is most holy.


Lev 8:9 - He also placed the turban on his head, and on the turban, at its front, he placed the golden plate, the holy crown, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.


Lev 10:12 - Then Moses spoke to Aaron, and to his surviving sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, "Take the grain offering that is left over from the LORD'S offerings by fire and eat it unleavened beside the altar, for it is most holy.


Lev 10:13 - "You shall eat it, moreover, in a holy place, because it is your due and your sons' due out of the LORD'S offerings by fire; for thus I have been commanded.


Lev 10:17 - "Why did you not eat the sin offering at the holy place? For it is most holy, and He gave it to you to bear away the guilt of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD.


Lev 14:13 - "Next he shall slaughter the male lamb in the place where they slaughter the sin offering and the burnt offering, at the place of the sanctuary--for the guilt offering, like the sin offering, belongs to the priest; it is most holy.


Lev 16:2 - The LORD said to Moses: "Tell your brother Aaron that he shall not enter at any time into the holy placeinside the veil, before the mercy seat which is on the ark, or he will die; for I will appear in the cloud over the mercy seat.


Lev 16:3 - "Aaron shall enter the holy place with this: with a bull for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.


Lev 16:4 - "He shall put on the holy linen tunic, and the linen undergarments shall be next to his body, and he shall be girded with the linen sash and attired with the linen turban (these are holy garments). Then he shall bathe his body in water and put them on.


Lev 16:16 - "He shall make atonement for the holy place, because of the impurities of the sons of Israel and because of their transgressions in regard to all their sins; and thus he shall do for the tent of meeting which abides with them in the midst of their impurities.


Lev 16:17 - "When he goes in to make atonement in the holy place, no one shall be in the tent of meeting until he comes out, that he may make atonement for himself and for his household and for all the assembly of Israel.


Lev 16:20 - "When he finishes atoning for the holy place and the tent of meeting and the altar, he shall offer the live goat.


Lev 16:23 - "Then Aaron shall come into the tent of meeting and take off the linen garments which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there.


Lev 16:24 - "He shall bathe his body with water in a holy place and put on his clothes, and come forth and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people and make atonement for himself and for the people.


Lev 16:27 - "But the bull of the sin offering and the goat of the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall be taken outside the camp, and they shall burn their hides, their flesh, and their refuse in the fire.


Lev 16:32 - "So the priest who is anointed and ordained to serve as priest in his father's place shall make atonement: he shall thus put on the linen garments, the holy garments,


Lev 16:33 - and make atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make atonement for the tent of meeting and for the altar. He shall also make atonement for the priests and for all the people of the assembly.


Lev 19:8 - 'Everyone who eats it will bear his iniquity, for he has profaned the holy thing of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from his people.


Lev 19:24 - 'But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD.


Lev 21:22 - 'He may eat the food of his God, [both] of the most holy and of the holy,


Lev 22:2 - "Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy [gifts] of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the LORD.


Lev 22:3 - "Say to them, 'If any man among all your descendants throughout your generations approaches the holy [gifts] which the sons of Israel dedicate to the LORD, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from before Me; I am the LORD.


Lev 22:4 - 'No man of the descendants of Aaron, who is a leper or who has a discharge, may eat of the holy [gifts]until he is clean. And if one touches anything made unclean by a corpse or if a man has a seminal emission,


Lev 22:6 - a person who touches any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy [gifts] unless he has bathed his body in water.


Lev 22:7 - 'But when the sun sets, he will be clean, and afterward he shall eat of the holy [gifts,] for it is his food.


Lev 22:10 - 'No layman, however, is to eat the holy [gift;] a sojourner with the priest or a hired man shall not eat of the holy [gift.]


Lev 22:14 - 'But if a man eats a holy [gift] unintentionally, then he shall add to it a fifth of it and shall give the holy [gift] to the priest.


Lev 22:15 - 'They shall not profane the holy [gifts] of the sons of Israel which they offer to the LORD,


Lev 22:16 - and [so] cause them to bear punishment for guilt by eating their holy [gifts;] for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'"


Lev 23:2 - "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'The LORD'S appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations--My appointed times are these:


Lev 23:3 - 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to the LORD in all your dwellings.


Lev 23:4 - 'These are the appointed times of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them.


Lev 23:7 - 'On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.


Lev 23:8 - 'But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the

seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.'"


Lev 23:20 - 'The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering with two lambs before the LORD; they are to be holy to the LORD for the priest.


Lev 23:21 - 'On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations.


Lev 23:24 - "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing [of trumpets,] a holy convocation.


Lev 23:27 - "On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocationfor you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the LORD.


Lev 23:35 - 'On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind.


Lev 23:36 - 'For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.


Lev 23:37 - 'These are the appointed times of the LORD which you shall proclaim as holy convocations, to present offerings by fire to the LORD--burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings, [each] day's matter on its own day--


Lev 24:9 - "It shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him from the LORD'S offerings by fire, [his] portion forever."


Lev 25:12 - 'For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you. You shall eat its crops out of the field.


Lev 27:9 - 'Now if it is an animal of the kind which men can present as an offering to the LORD, any such that one gives to the LORD shall be holy.


Lev 27:10 - 'He shall not replace it or exchange it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good; or if he does exchange animal for animal, then both it and its substitute shall become holy.


Lev 27:14 - 'Now if a man consecrates his house as holy to the LORD, then the priest shall value it as either good or bad; as the priest values it, so it shall stand.


Lev 27:21 - and when it reverts in the jubilee, the field shall be holy to the LORD, like a field set apart; it shall be for the priest as his property.


Lev 27:23 - then the priest shall calculate for him the amount of your valuation up to the year of jubilee; and he shall on that day give your valuation as holy to the LORD.


Lev 27:28 - 'Nevertheless, anything which a man sets apart to the LORD out of all that he has, of man or animal or of the fields of his own property, shall not be sold or redeemed. Anything devoted to destruction is most holy to the LORD.


Lev 27:30 - 'Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S; it is holy to the LORD.


Lev 27:32 - 'For every tenth part of herd or flock, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth one shall be holy to the LORD.


Lev 27:33 - 'He is not to be concerned whether [it is] good or bad, nor shall he exchange it; or if he does exchange it, then both it and its substitute shall become holy. It shall not be redeemed.'"


Num 4:4 - "This is the work of the descendants of Kohath in the tent of meeting, [concerning] the most holy things.


Num 4:15 - "When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the holy [objects] and all the furnishings of the sanctuary, when the camp is to set out, after that the sons of Kohath shall come to carry [them,] so that they will not touch the holy [objects] and die. These are the things in the tent of meeting which the sons of Kohath are to carry.


Num 4:19 - "But do this to them that they may live and not die when they approach the most holy [objects:] Aaron and his sons shall go in and assign each of them to his work and to his load;


Num 4:20 - but they shall not go in to see the holy [objects] even for a moment, or they will die."


Num 5:9 - 'Also every contribution pertaining to all the holy [gifts] of the sons of Israel, which they offer to the priest, shall be his.


Num 5:10 - 'So every man's holy [gifts] shall be his; whatever any man gives to the priest, it becomes his.'"


Num 5:17 - and the priest shall take holy water in an earthenware vessel; and he shall take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put [it] into the water.


Num 7:9 - But he did not give [any] to the sons of Kohath because theirs [was] the service of the holy [objects, which] they carried on the shoulder.


Num 10:21 - Then the Kohathites set out, carrying the holy [objects;] and the tabernacle was set up before their arrival.


Num 16:37 - "Say to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, that he shall take up the censers out of the midst of the blaze, for they are holy; and you scatter the burning coals abroad.


Num 16:38 - "As for the censers of these men who have sinned at the cost of their lives, let them be made into hammered sheets for a plating of the altar, since they did present them before the LORD and they are holy; and they shall be for a sign to the sons of Israel."


Num 18:8 - Then the LORD spoke to Aaron, "Now behold, I Myself have given you charge of My offerings, even all the holy gifts of the sons of Israel I have given them to you as a portion and to your sons as a perpetual allotment.


Num 18:9 - "This shall be yours from the most holy [gifts reserved] from the fire; every offering of theirs, even every grain offering and every sin offering and every guilt offering, which they shall render to Me, shall be most holyfor you and for your sons.


Num 18:10 - "As the most holy [gifts] you shall eat it; every male shall eat it. It shall be holy to you.


Num 18:17 - "But the firstborn of an ox or the firstborn of a sheep or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar and shall offer up their fat in smoke [as] an offering by fire, for a soothing aroma to the LORD.


Num 18:19 - "All the offerings of the holy [gifts,] which the sons of Israel offer to the LORD, I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a perpetual allotment. It is an everlasting covenant of salt before the LORD to you and your descendants with you."


Num 28:7 - 'Then the drink offering with it [shall be] a fourth of a hin for each lamb, in the holy place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the LORD.


Num 28:18 - 'On the first day [shall be] a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work.


Num 28:25 - 'On the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work.


Num 28:26 - 'Also on the day of the first fruits, when you present a new grain offering to the LORD in your [Feast of] Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work.


Num 29:1 - 'Now in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall also have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work. It will be to you a day for blowing trumpets.


Num 29:7 - 'Then on the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall humble yourselves; you shall not do any work.


Num 29:12 - 'Then on the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work, and you shall observe a feast to the LORD for seven days.


Num 31:6 - Moses sent them, a thousand from each tribe, to the war, and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war with them, and the holy vessels and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.


Num 35:25 - 'The congregation shall deliver the manslayer from the hand of the blood avenger, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge to which he fled; and he shall live in it until the death of the high priest who was anointed with the holy oil.


Deu 5:12 - 'Observe the sabbath day to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you.


Deu 12:26 - "Only your holy things which you may have and your votive offerings, you shall take and go to the place which the LORD chooses.


Deu 23:14 - "Since the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to defeat your enemies before you, therefore your camp must be holy; and He must not see anything indecent among you or He will turn away from you.


Deu 26:15 - 'Look down from Your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel, and the ground which You have given us, a land flowing with milk and honey, as You swore to our fathers.'


Jos 5:15 - The captain of the LORD'S host said to Joshua, "Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so.


Jos 6:19 - "But all the silver and gold and articles of bronze and iron are holy to the LORD; they shall go into the treasury of the LORD."


1Ki 6:16 - He built twenty cubits on the rear part of the house with boards of cedar from the floor to the ceiling; he built [them] for it on the inside as an inner sanctuary, [even] as the most holy place.


1Ki 7:50 - and the cups and the snuffers and the bowls and the spoons and the firepans, of pure gold; and the hinges both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, [and] for the doors of the house, [that is,] of the nave, of gold.


1Ki 8:4 - They brought up the ark of the LORD and the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils, which were in the tent, and the priests and the Levites brought them up.


1Ki 8:6 - Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim.


1Ki 8:8 - But the poles were so long that the ends of the poles could be seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen outside; they are there to this day.


1Ki 8:10 - It happened that when the priests came from the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the LORD,


1Ch 6:49 - But Aaron and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense, for all the work of the most holy place, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.


1Ch 16:29 - Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Bring an offering, and come before Him; Worship the LORD in holy array.


1Ch 22:19 - "Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise, therefore, and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for the name of the LORD."


1Ch 23:28 - For their office is to assist the sons of Aaron with the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts and in the chambers and in the purifying of all holy things, even the work of the service of the house of God,


1Ch 23:32 - Thus they are to keep charge of the tent of meeting, and charge of the holy place, and charge of the sons of Aaron their relatives, for the service of the house of the LORD.


1Ch 29:3 - "Moreover, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy temple,


2Ch 3:8 - Now he made the room of the holy of holies: its length across the width of the house [was] twenty cubits, and its width [was] twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, [amounting] to 600 talents.


2Ch 3:10 - Then he made two sculptured cherubim in the room of the holy of holies and overlaid them with gold.


2Ch 4:22 - and the snuffers, the bowls, the spoons and the firepans of pure gold; and the entrance of the house, its inner doors for the holy of holies and the doors of the house, [that is,] of the nave, of gold.


2Ch 5:5 - They brought up the ark and the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils which [were] in the tent; the Levitical priests brought them up.


2Ch 5:7 - Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the holy of holies, under the wings of the cherubim.


2Ch 5:11 - When the priests came forth from the holy place (for all the priests who were present had sanctified themselves, without regard to divisions),


2Ch 8:11 - Then Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the city of David to the house which he had built for her, for he said, "My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy where the ark of the LORD has entered."


2Ch 20:21 - When he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who sang to the LORD and those who praised [Him] in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, "Give thanks to the LORD, for His lovingkindness is everlasting."


2Ch 23:6 - "But let no one enter the house of the LORD except the priests and the ministering Levites; they may enter, for they are holy. And let all the people keep the charge of the LORD.


2Ch 24:7 - For the sons of the wicked Athaliah had broken into the house of God and even used the holy things of the house of the LORD for the Baals.


2Ch 29:7 - "They have also shut the doors of the porch and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense or offered burnt offerings in the holy place to the God of Israel.


2Ch 30:27 - Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people; and their voice was

heard and their prayer came to His holy dwelling place, to heaven.

2Ch 35:5 - "Moreover, stand in the holy place according to the sections of the fathers' households of your brethren the lay people, and according to the Levites, by division of a father's household.


2Ch 35:13 - So they roasted the Passover [animals] on the fire according to the ordinance, and they boiled the holy things in pots, in kettles, in pans, and carried [them] speedily to all the lay people.


Ezr 2:63 - The governor said to them that they should not eat from the most holy things until a priest stood up with Urim and Thummim.


Ezr 8:28 - Then I said to them, "You are holy to the LORD, and the utensils are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to the LORD God of your fathers.


Ezr 9:2 - "For they have taken some of their daughters [as wives] for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy race has intermingled with the peoples of the lands; indeed, the hands of the princes and the rulers have been foremost in this unfaithfulness."


Ezr 9:8 - "But now for a brief moment grace has been [shown] from the LORD our God, to

leave us an escaped remnant and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and grant us a little reviving in our bondage.


Neh 7:65 - The governor said to them that they should not eat from the most holy things until a priest arose with Urim and Thummim.


Neh 8:9 - Then Nehemiah, who was the governor, and Ezra the priest [and] scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to the LORD your God; do not mourn or weep." For all the people were weeping when they heard the words of the law.


Neh 8:10 - Then he said to them, "Go, eat of the fat, drink of the sweet, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."


Neh 8:11 - So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, "Be still, for the day is holy; do not be grieved."


Neh 9:14 - "So You made known to them Your holy sabbath, And laid down for them commandments, statutes and law, Through Your servant Moses.


Neh 10:31 - As for the peoples of the land who bring wares or any grain on the sabbath day to sell, we will not buy from them on the sabbath or a holy day; and we will forego [the crops] the seventh year and the exaction of every debt.

Psa 138:2 - I will bow down toward Your holy temple And give thanks to Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word according to all Your name.


Pro 20:25 - It is a trap for a man to say rashly, "It is holy!" And after the vows to make inquiry.


Ecc 8:10 - So then, I have seen the wicked buried, those who used to go in and out from the holy place, and they are [soon] forgotten in the city where they did thus. This too is futility.

Isa 56:7 - Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples."


Isa 57:13 - "When you cry out, let your collection [of idols] deliver you. But the wind will carry all of them up, [And] a breath will take [them away.] But he who takes refuge in Me will inherit the land And will possess My holy mountain."


Isa 58:13 - "If because of the sabbath, you turn your foot From doing your [own] pleasure on My holy day, And call the sabbath a delight, the holy [day] of the LORD honorable, And honor it, desisting from your [own] ways, From seeking your [own] pleasure And speaking [your own] word,


Isa 64:10 - Your holy cities have become a wilderness, Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.


Isa 64:11 - Our holy and beautiful house, Where our fathers praised You, Has been burned [by] fire; And all our precious things have become a ruin.


Isa 65:11 - "But you who forsake the LORD, Who forget My holy mountain, Who set a table for Fortune, And who fill [cups] with mixed wine for Destiny,


Isa 65:25 - "The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent's food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain," says the LORD.


Isa 66:20 - "Then they shall bring all your brethren from all the nations as a grain offering to the LORD, on horses, in chariots, in litters, on mules and on camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem," says the LORD, "just as the sons of Israel bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD.


Jer 17:22 - "You shall not bring a load out of your houses on the sabbath day nor do any work, but keep the sabbath day holy, as I commanded your forefathers.


Jer 17:24 - "But it will come about, if you listen attentively to Me," declares the LORD, "to bring no load in through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but to keep the sabbath day holy by doing no work on it,


Jer 17:27 - "But if you do not listen to Me to keep the sabbath day holy by not carrying a load and coming in through the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates and it will devour the palaces of Jerusalem and not be quenched."'"


Jer 31:23 - Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, "Once again they will speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities when I restore their fortunes, 'The LORD bless you, O abode of righteousness, O holy hill!'

Jer 31:40 - "And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD; it will not be plucked up or overthrown anymore forever."

Jer 51:51 - We are ashamed because we have heard reproach; Disgrace has covered our faces, For aliens have entered The holy places of the LORD'S house.


Eze 7:24 - 'Therefore, I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong ones cease, and their holy places will be profaned.


Eze 20:40 - "For on My holy mountain, on the high mountain of Israel," declares the Lord GOD, "there the whole house of Israel, all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I will accept them and there I will seek your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holy things.


Eze 22:8 - "You have despised My holy things and profaned My sabbaths.


Eze 22:26 - "Her priests have done violence to My law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the profane, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they hide their eyes from My sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.


Eze 41:4 - He measured its length, twenty cubits, and the width, twenty cubits, before the nave; and he said to me, "This is the most holy [place.]"


Eze 42:13 - Then he said to me, "The north chambers [and] the south chambers, which are opposite the separate area, they are the holy chambers where the priests who are near to the LORD shall eat the most holy things. There they shall lay the most holy things, the grain offering, the sin offering and the guilt offering; for the place is holy.


Eze 42:14 - "When the priests enter, then they shall not go out into the outer court from the sanctuary without laying there their garments in which they minister, for they are holy. They shall put on other garments; then they shall approach that which is for the people."


Eze 42:20 - He measured it on the four sides; it had a wall all around, the length five hundred and the width five hundred, to divide between the holy and the profane.


Eze 43:12 - "This is the law of the house: its entire area on the top of the mountain all around [shall be] most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.


Eze 44:8 - "And you have not kept charge of My holy things yourselves, but you have set [foreigners] to keep charge of My sanctuary."


Eze 44:13 - "And they shall not come near to Me to serve as a priest to Me, nor come near to any of My holy things, to the things that are most holy; but they will bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed.


Eze 44:19 - "When they go out into the outer court, into the outer court to the people, they shall put off their garments in which they have been ministering and lay them in the holy chambers; then they shall put on other garments so that they will not transmit holiness to the people with their garments.


Eze 45:1 - "And when you divide by lot the land for inheritance, you shall offer an allotment to the LORD, a holy portion of the land; the length shall be the length of 25,000 [cubits,] and the width shall be 20,000. It shall be holy within all its boundary round about.


Eze 45:2 - "Out of this there shall be for the holy place a square round about five hundred by five hundred [cubits,] and fifty cubits for its open space round about.


Eze 45:3 - "From this area you shall measure a length of 25,000 [cubits] and a width of 10,000 [cubits;] and in it shall be the sanctuary, the most holy place.


Eze 45:4 - "It shall be the holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to the LORD, and it shall be a place for their houses and a holy place for the sanctuary.

Eze 45:6 - "You shall give the city possession of [an area] 5,000 [cubits] wide and 25,000 [cubits] long, alongside the allotment of the holy portion; it shall be for the whole house of Israel.


Eze 45:7 - "The prince shall have [land] on either side of the holy allotment and the property of the city, adjacent to the holy allotment and the property of the city, on the west side toward the west and on the east side toward the east, and in length comparable to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border.


Eze 46:19 - Then he brought me through the entrance, which [was] at the side of the gate, into the holy chambersfor the priests, which faced north; and behold, there [was] a place at the extreme rear toward the west.


Eze 48:10 - "The holy allotment shall be for these, [namely] for the priests, toward the north 25,000 [cubits in length,] toward the west 10,000 in width, toward the east 10,000 in width, and toward the south 25,000 in length; and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in its midst.


Eze 48:12 - "It shall be an allotment to them from the allotment of the land, a most holy place, by the border of the Levites.


Eze 48:14 - "Moreover, they shall not sell or exchange any of it, or alienate this choice [portion] of land; for it is holy to the LORD.


Eze 48:18 - "The remainder of the length alongside the holy allotment shall be 10,000 [cubits] toward the east and 10,000 toward the west; and it shall be alongside the holy allotment. And its produce shall be food for the workers of the city.


Eze 48:20 - "The whole allotment [shall be] 25,000 by 25,000 [cubits;] you shall set apart the holy allotment, a square, with the property of the city.


Eze 48:21 - "The remainder [shall be] for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy allotment and of the property of the city; in front of the 25,000 [cubits] of the allotment toward the east border and westward in front of the 25,000 toward the west border, alongside the portions, [it shall be] for the prince. And the holy allotment and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the middle of it.


Dan 8:13 - Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, "How long will the vision [about] the regular sacrifice apply, while the transgression causes horror, so as to allow both the holy place and the host to be trampled?"


Dan 8:14 - He said to me, "For 2,300 evenings [and] mornings; then the holy place will be properly restored."


Dan 9:16 - "O Lord, in accordance with all Your righteous acts, let now Your anger and Your wrath turn away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people [have become] a reproach to all those around us.


Dan 9:20 - Now while I was speaking and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the LORD my God in behalf of the holy mountain of my God,


Dan 9:24 - "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy [place.]


Dan 11:28 - "Then he will return to his land with much plunder; but his heart will be [set] against the holy covenant, and he will take action and [then] return to his [own] land.


Dan 11:30 - "For ships of Kittim will come against him; therefore he will be disheartened and will return and become enraged at the holy covenant and take action; so he will come back and show regard for those who forsake the holy covenant.


Dan 11:45 - "He will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.


Joe 2:1 - Blow a trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, For the day of the LORD is coming; Surely it is near,


Joe 3:17 - Then you will know that I am the LORD your God, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain. So Jerusalem will be holy, And strangers will pass through it no more.


Oba 1:16 - "Because just as you drank on My holy mountain, All the nations will drink continually. They will drink and swallow And become as if they had never existed.

Zec 2:12 - "The LORD will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.


Zec 8:3 - "Thus says the LORD, 'I will return to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. Then Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of hosts [will be called] the Holy Mountain.'


Zec 14:20 - In that day there will [be inscribed] on the bells of the horses, "HOLY TO THE LORD." And the cooking pots in the LORD'S house will be like the bowls before the altar.


Zec 14:21 - Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of hosts; and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts in that day.
