Kingdomstreams Personal Update from Randy

January 10, 2026

Dear Readers of Kingdomstreams,

It has been a very long time since I have posted a personal update. Some of you know me; many of you do not. So I thought with the New Year I would answer a handful of questions that you might have regarding our website and/or myself.

1.        Do you use AI or Chat gpt?   No I have yet to look to those two resources. Maybe some day. Maybe not.

2.        Why do I so seldom post things on Kingdomstreams?   Well there are a whole lot of reasons for this. Some of them are: I’m still and elder and pastor at our church, and I now am leading our area pastors fellowship for our three coastal towns, and I have six grandchildren that are in our home or we are in theirs every week (at least once), and Anne and I feel more called than ever to intercession – ultimately the words/prayers of men to God go a lot farther in terms of fruit that remains than the words of men to men, and I was informed by UpCode that ideally I should include an excerpt and picture with every post so by the time I learned how to do that I had already posted over 500, so every day I try to go back and and edit my old posts, etc.,etc.. I might add that there are now 570 posts on KS so there is plenty of material to be digested. And btw - if you want to be informed fairly immeditately of when I have made a new post, you can subscribe to KS, and the system will send you an email to that end.

3.        Do you ever run out of material? No. If I were to suddenly die and someone wanted to peruse my word documents they would probably find somewhere between 25 and 50 documents wherein I have started a few thoughts or scriptures about a given subject but have not finished it. Most every day I have some future post bouncing around in my brain.

4.        Do you ever intend to fundraise or allow advertisements on KS? No not at this point. Because we are trying to plan for the future for our church I am being weaned off the payroll in these next two years so on paper this could be a very challenging year financially, and next year more so. But God has always come through for us, and we prefer to lean and wait on Him. We do deeply appreciate those who choose to invest in KS.

5.        Do you intend to retire from writing on KS in the next few years?  No we have no plans for retirement, though I’m sure our pace will gradually slow down.

6.        Do you have an editor? No. I’m sure that would make my writings more readable and understandable, but we are not inclined at this point to pursue that. My wife does help me from time to time when she has the time to do so.

7.        Do you have a board? Yes I do, but I’m afraid I do not communicate with them as much as I would like to/should about KS. I am in regular relationship with the three of them, but we tend to not talk about KS as much as life and ministry at The Well or what’s going on in their lives or mine. My ministry is pretty simple. I have no staff or volunteers to give an accounting for.

8.        Are you still working on a mobile app for KS? Yes we are. I have a zoom session with UpCode every couple of weeks and we have made good progress, but as of the last session we appear to have a logjam of sorts with Google. So that is being looked into by them. Design was completed quite a while ago, but we have struggled to get it launched. Prayers appreciated on this.

If any of you have other questions I will be glad to try to answer them. In the meantime I greatly value your prayers as I try to be faithful with the responsibilities and opportunities God has given me.

God bless each of you abundantly. And thanks for being a KS reader.

Love in Christ,

Randy
