III. Jesus’ Answer illustrated – vs. 23-34 Ten thousand talents = two million four hundred thousand pounds 100 denari = less than 5 pounds $1.50 U.S. = 1 lb


In vs. 35 we see two things: IV. Consequences for Unwillingness to Forgive – vs. 35 (cf. Matt. 6:12-15) Matt 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy.”


V. Kind of Forgiveness Expected – vs. 35 – “from the heart” COMMUNION – Eph. 1:7
