Part II – Holiness and Fruitfulness in the Golden Years
"There is a whole industry in America designed to convince we seniors that we deserve to come up with our own self served bucket list; that because of how hard we worked in our careers, we now deserve to enjoy to the hilt the world of leisure and recreation.
Jesus the Head of His church on the other hand is looking for disciples that will allow Him to define the golden years..."

Holiness and Fruitfulness in the Golden Years
I believe seniors (i.e. people 65 or older and who generally are retired from their careers) in the kingdom are crucial for the church to be able to rise to the high calling that Christ has given us in these last days. We seniors have a unique and significant role to play until our last breath.

Does God see Every Believer as Holy?
"...the very good news in all of this is your Holy God is absolutely committed to helping you become holy in your daily life as you learn to abide in Christ, depend on the Holy Spirit, walk in humble and interdependent relationship with His church, and walk by faith in what He has done and is going to do in your life."

Knowing God as Holy Part IV
" God’s holiness and our lack of does not keep Him from pursuing His people. God has always longed for His people to dwell with Him; and He has long intended to dwell in their midst. But because God is holy He must prepare us and purify us and cleanse us...."

Genesis and the Holiness of God – Part III
But these dealings with Adam and Eve and then Cain are given to us so that we can know God sees and knows and hears of every sin against Him and against our fellow man, and He always out of His holiness deals with them without any minimizing or sweeping things under the rug.

Knowing God as Holy – Part II
God chose Moses to be his leader of His people before the foundations of the earth and was fashioning and forming him throughout his first 80 years on earth. But now He is ready to formally commission Him to be the Hebrews’ leader and deliverer, and for Moses to be able to aptly respond to that, he must know the God with whom He is dealing. And the first thing God wants Him to know is that He is holy.

Knowing God as Holy – Part I
When God commands, “Be holy as I am holy” He intends for us to not pursue some formula or list of do’s and don’ts to become holy, but rather He intends for us to pursue Himself. Only as we know and relate to Him as holy can we in turn become holy like Him.

Knowing God as the Strategic Planner and Perfect Finisher that He is
"...God is a brilliant and strategic planner. King Jesus knows everything about the future of His creation, and He never misses a detail in working out His plans. God in His manifold wisdom set these plans in motion before the creation of the Universe..."

Will Believers be Judged by God?
One of the motivations Paul and his associates had for living holy lives and being pleasing to the Lord was the expectation that they will each “appear before the judgment seat of Christ….”. The best way to be found pleasing to Him at the judgment, is by learning to be pleasing to Him in the now. This passage states that we will be recompensed for both our good deeds and bad ones.

How to Maximize our Re-engagement with the Church – Part IV
Walking in the Light is a lifestyle of relating to God and His people in such a way that we see our sin, discover how to be free from our sin, and thus can make the most of our times of fellowship together all in dependence upon the Holy Spirit.

How To Maximize our Re-Engagement with the Church Part III
You do not have to have a seminary or Bible college degree to make a significant and ongoing contribution to the growth and maturing of Christ’s church. You do need to be ever more connected to Christ the Head (“…. holding fast to the Head… Col. 2:19), so that His life can flow through you to others, and so you can appropriately receive from Him through others!

How to Maximize our Re-Engagement with the Church – Part II
I have absolutely nothing of any kingdom value to give you unless it first comes to me from the Head. If you or I as a way of life cling to and hold fast to the Head, then His life can flow through us to our fellow members, at which point the body of Christ is built up and held together/unified.

How to Maximize our Re-engagement in the Church; – Part I
If we members of the body, rely on our own understanding and resources at our jobs or in school, or while at home being homemakers and caregivers; if we are not learning to abide in Him, rely on Him, hearing and responding to His voice and direction in our normal daily lives, then when we gather what He has ordained for our gatherings will be stifled and short circuited and mostly missed.

Wickedness among Gov’t officials & Disciples of Jesus
God is the ultimate judge, but He always prefers mercy. And one of His merciful ways re: gov’t leaders is He often sends a Joseph, or Esther or Daniel or Ebed-melech to help them turn from wickedness to righteousness.

Judging Ministers & Ministries From Afar
We believers in general give way too little attention to our own need for growth, cleansing and transformation. And one of the big reasons we don’t is because we focus so much on others’ sins. The more we allow ourselves to give attention to the sins of others, the less we will feel the need to focus on our own sin

Restoring our Focus in 2021
Thankfully focus is important to our Savior, and the Holy Spirit specializes in restoring it when it has been lost or adversely affected.

Jesus & the “Big Dinner” – Luke 14:1-35
One of the reasons I am posting these blogs and studies on a not so popular subject is we disciples need to shore up our discipleship. We live in an extremely entitled society, wherein everyone deserves everything anyone else has. Our “rights” increase by the day because we worship ourselves and the creation, and have not given ourselves to knowing our God/the Creator.

Hell & Eternal Punishment in the New Testament
For the last month and a half, I have been investing the majority of my study time to the broad subject of hell and eternal punishment for the lost......I realized that out of my 346 posts on our website – not one specifically dealt with this heated subject. Ouch!

Why Singing Praises to God as His Gathered people is not optional
Corporate singing praises to God is almost always an integral part of times of spiritual renewal and revival in the Old Testament.

Does God Care About our Cities and the Problems they Face?
Jesus in the sermon on the mount gave a clear mandate for how we are to feel towards those around us – even our enemies based on God’s character or how He feels towards all people, even those who scorn or diss Him.
