A prophetic word in a gathering of believers should be enthusiastically embraced because it “speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation”

"....when the Holy Spirit chooses to remind you of some aspect of the sin and rebellion and debauchery of your past, please know He has every right to do that. He will never do it to condemn you..."

But it is the Spirit who reveals this abundance of supernatural life and who gives us thirst for it and who helps us learn to walk in it

In our experience many worshipping communities are the weakest in their knowledge of and experience of the Holy Spirit for a variety of reasons.

Does it not stand to reason that if the “voice out of the heavens” declared God was well pleased with Jesus before He ever started His ministry (see Matthew 3:17) that Jesus lived His life up to that point by the Spirit?

The more David saw God’s glory and majesty and goodness and greatness the more he wanted everyone on the planet to see it and experience it. And he apparently had faith that that could happen.

"It is imperative that earthly fathers give more time to knowing their God and passing that experiential and theological knowledge down to their children. This will always by far be their children’s greatest need."

Compromising with our idolatrous fathers may keep some kind of peace in the family, but it will not bring them into the peace they need with God.

Any seeking of truth or discussion of truth without a humble and obedient pursuit of the knowledge of Him and an ongoing deepening relationship with Him will end in deception or the misuse of truth

"Because of our sin nature and this evil world system in which we live and because of the father of lies and his lying demons swirling around us truth is often hard to see, hard to hear and hard to heed"

The love of money causes people to do awful things to others, even those close to them. But it is equally true that money and lots of it is vital to expand God’s kingdom purposes on the earth, which includes meeting the needs of your family and extended family.

I have to say this is where the secular money managers are often blind. They do not understand how the ability to make wealth is one thing; but the ability to keep it and use it appropriately is quite another.

A surprising number of Jesus’s parables have to do with our stewarding of what He has entrusted to us. His purpose for we believers is to free us from all of the things that would keep us from stewarding His money and material possessions well, and thus reaping the blessing of such.

Unless we are giving ourselves to knowing our God and His will and ways, we can easily observe the prosperity our fathers enjoyed and the apparent blessing of God financially and materially on them and deduct that God was pleased with them. When in fact He was not at all.

The people of God today (just as in that day) will never break free of the sins of the fathers until we by the leading of the Holy Spirit identify those sins and see them as God sees them.

We praise You Jesus that for the joy set before You which included seeing billions of people like us saved, healed and delivered by Your precious blood – You endured so much shame, pain, grief and trauma.

"When God wants His people to understand the depths and seriousness of their sins, He deems it necessary at times to help them see the connection with their sins and the sins of their fathers."

Fathers not loving God with their whole hearts and clinging to Jesus their wonderful Savior and then imparting that devotion to their children is at the root of so many of the world’s problems including the sobering rise of antisemitism we are seeing

"....one of the ways we fathers are motivated to obey and fear the Lord and greatly delight in His commandments is by knowing the full consequences of our disobedience on us and on our children and grandchildren if we don’t."
