These promises have been a great encouragement to me over the years to talk less and pray more, though I still need to talk less and pray more. I trust they will be an encouragement to you as well!

One of the most glorious ongoing works of our great Savior Jesus Christ is that He is continually cleansing His church from all of our unrighteousness and defilement by His precious blood and by the intimate work of the Holy Spirit.

One of the reasons reading the Bible regularly and meaningfully is so difficult for so many is because of the great value of doing so. Few things we will ever do have the potential to radically transform our lives like ongoing meditation in the Scriptures.

Only when we are regularly reminded of how we were before Christ saved us, will we appreciate the greatness of His salvation. Only when we are regularly reminded of who we are in the flesh in the present, will we appreciate the greatness of His grace, and cleansing blood, and impartation of the life of Christ by His Spirit.

Surely the observance of communion with our Savior is one of our greatest privileges as saints. May we all grow in our understanding and Spirit enabled experience of this ancient but highly relevant practice.

The treasure we have in our Savior's blood is beyond comprehension or description. That is - no matter what depths we plumb, there will always be more to understand and experience.

When planning a wedding with a couple this list has come in handy. These options are not exhaustive of course. But they provide a basic framework for young couples who may not have a clear thought through plan for their wedding ceremony.

Our Lord Jesus has called all of us to worship Him "in spirit and in truth." He goes on to say in that passage "...for such people the Father seeks to be His worshippers." (John 4:23). These quotes about worship come from godly men and women, worship leaders, scholars, etc. May they stir us all to be the worshippers Father delights in.

One of the ways God chooses to bless and minister to people is through our words of blessing. Our words have power especially when spoken in faith and when spoken by the leading and power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit had men record these for a reason.

Now we know Jesus did not literally intend for His disciples at that time to drink His blood. But He did literally mean for us to base our whole earthly existence and eternal hope on His precious blood. Christianity is meaningless and worthless apart from the blood of Christ.

The only true hope for our nation and the nations is a God sent revival and awakening like the world has never seen before. For the church to be ready for such, she needs to understand what revival is, what is not (e.g. planned "revival" meetings), what it looks like, etc. The following quotes are given for that reason.

Personal, family and group or corporate prayer is surely one of our highest callings as believers. And thus is one of our greatest challenges. In light of that struggle, I submit these quotes for our encouragement and stimulation. May we believers in every city and every nation truly become "a house/people of prayer".

Just as there is no "junior Holy Spirit", which means you do not have to reach a certain age before you can begin to relate to the Holy Spirit in all His fullness, so there is no age sensitive Satan. In other words, he does not wait until we are an adult to seek to destroy us. He begins immediately with his sinister and cruel schemes.

Lots of talk out there about spiritual warfare these days. Seems best to me to start with what is very clear in scripture re: our responsibility. Encouraging to me from meditating on these commands that we have the power and authority in Christ to resist the most powerful supernatural being (other than Jesus Christ and His angels) in the Universe.
