“Heaven” in the Old Testament Genesis 1:8 God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. Genesis 2:4 This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven. Genesis 6:17 “Behold, I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish. Genesis 11

I provide these passages especially for worship leaders, and other leaders of Christ’s church who want to worship Him in spirit and in truth. And who thus want to plumb the depths of the whole counsel of God on anything having to do with singing and music. May the Holy Spirit open your eyes and ears as you meditate on the following.

This study is designed to help us understand the importance and role of dreams, visions, revelations, etc., in the kingdom of God. I believe God loves to speak and move in a whole variety of ways through a variety of people and giftings and of course through His angels.

Everything God has willed for us, He has paved the way with His promises. They are like stepping stones for all the fullness of Christ and all the fullness of the Holy Spirit to become ours.

May we all hate the things God hates which surely includes the practice of lying. Few things destroy the fabric of a nation like lying does. I offer these Scriptures for your meditation and for your sanctification.

These are passages re: Israel’s future. The great majority of them proclaim her future spiritual revival and land restoration. A few seem to proclaim that God is done with her (see towards the end). I will continue to add to this as I come across pertinent passages.

As I’ve read through this book over the years certain themes have begun to stand out to me. One of them is Israel’s forsaking God and forsaking their call to know and walk with Him and listen to His voice. This may be Israel’s greatest sin, and probably is ours as well.

Now we know Jesus did not literally intend for His disciples at that time to drink His blood. But He did literally mean for us to base our whole earthly existence and eternal hope on His precious blood. Christianity is meaningless and worthless apart from the blood of Christ.

The ministry of teaching and preaching in the church and out in the world can hardly be over emphasized. But how we do it and why we do it and what our ultimate goals are in doing it must be regularly re-evaluated and asssessed in light of Scripture.
